Free Treatment by Qualified Psychiatrists

The Trust owns two fully equipped Mobile Clinics and these clinics cover all 91 Panchayat (local self governing bodies) and 4 Municipal towns in the District every month. A qualified and experienced psychiatrist and supporting Para medical staff attend to patients at their own places. A schedule is prepared for the entire month and circulated to the panchayat and municipal offices, besides announcing the panchayat and municipalities covered each day with the help of local newspapers. The Mobile Clinics give treatment including medicines to the patients, all absolutely free of cost.

Full Time Rehabilitation centre

The Trust runs a fully equipped Rehabilitation Centre at Ongallur, near Pattambi, some 55 kms. from the District town, Palakkad. Besides providing medical treatment and engaging them physically and mentally through entertainment and education, the inmates are also given training to develop skills for various jobs.
